Inspiring physicians and community members to imitate the life of Jesus Christ
The purpose of starting the Sacred Heart of Jesus guild of the Diocese of Rapid City is to bring together people of all faiths. Let us build a city of GOD as we imitate the life of Jesus!
Collectively, diversity will create unity and build a medical community steadfast to the Catholic faith in science and practice of medicine. We are dedicated to educating and supporting the next generation of health care providers. We strive to provide fellowship, education and service to our local faith communities and peers in health care.
We currently have 12 members: 8 physicians, 1 medical student, Bishop Gruss as our chaplain and a secretary and treasurer.
Our guild will be active in educating the community on pro-life medical issues and preparing for the social challenges regarding end of life care and the prescription of medical marijuana that is sweeping the nation.
Please attend one of our meetings and considering joining our Team! The Sacred Heart of Jesus guild of the Diocese of Rapid City welcomes physicians, healthcare professionals, clergy, students and all interested in integrating Catholic principles into health care. We are open to all people of all faiths who aspire to Imitate the Life of Jesus!
